INTRODUCTION TO THE
REVELATION
GREETINGS
IN THE NAME OF THE LORD,
Today is March
24, 2007, and I am distressed because I know how hard this
message will be to receive. I am not particularly happy about
it myself. Yet, having been brought to these things by the
Word of God and historical record and knowing that a prophet
is seldom received in his own house or country, I still must
report these things to those I call my brothers and sisters in
the Lord.
How in the world
can anybody obey the imperative to “be of one mind and one
mouth” when so many Sects have their own point of view on
the two Sections of this book? What I mean is this:
Ezk
14:4 Therefore speak unto them, and say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Every man of the house
of Israel that taketh his idols into his heart, and putteth
the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face,
and cometh to the prophet; I Jehovah will answer him therein
according to the multitude of his idols;
Well, can we hope this
is only applicable to physical Israel of the Old Covenant and
therefore has no bearing on us today? Yet, I find its counter
part in the New Covenant that could mean Jesus Christ really
is the same yesterday/today/and forever:
2Th
2:11-12 and for this cause God shall send them
strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all
might be damned who believed not the truth, but had
pleasure in unrighteousness.
Which brings me to this
writing and how I have approached the issues herein that I
know will greatly anger most! I would ask this question to you
reader, how would Jesus be addressing the churches of today in
your estimation? The Apostles having just shortly (excluding
John) left the scene of this life, we are then given a
discourse by the Lord himself to seven Gentile churches. We
upon so short a span of time can only find one that
receives no negative assessment! If this were so, where then
do you suppose we might fit in the Lord’s assessment of the
churches today? You perhaps can now appreciate my dilemma in
presenting this discourse on two most highly held doctrinal
systems in Christendom today?
I seek no
following nor would I likely get one, as I know the content of
this presentation will be very hard for many to even read, let
alone swallow! Nevertheless, what the very Early Church held
as truth I now present to you with the best of hope and the
assurance that I have made “the whole council of God”
on these matters now known to you. COME, says the Lord,
Let us reason together. Peradventure the daystar may arise in
our hearts and the Lord pass by and leave a
blessing!
I ask that no
one plagiarizes the content herein, but I do grant the right
to be quoted in part or in full.
Thank you for your
indulgence and may we love the truth above all
else,
For by it we shall be saved
or no,
Jim
