When you take Christ out of
Christmas
The true meaning is not quite
clear;
It's something much more
wonderful
To celebrate each
year.
It's not about St.
Nicholas
Who brings joy to girls and
boys,
With landing on our
rooftops
Toting sacks filled up with
toys;
Or decorated Christmas
trees,
Lit houses on the
streets,
The gathered crowds in shopping
malls,
Or baking special
treats.
The true meaning of Christmas
day
Needs little
preparation,
Which seems to have just faded
now
All across the
Nation.
The day is Christ, our Savior's
birth,
God's One and only
Son,
A gift so lovingly given
us
So redemption could be
won!
A special gift, this
Jesus,
Who God gave to you and
me,
Who took upon Him all our
sin
When nailed upon that
tree.
This Christmas tree should remind
us
A Savior once was
born,
So as you gather 'round
yours
On this very special
morn',
Join hands and say a special
prayer
To thank God up
above,
For giving us His precious
Son,
A gift of Eternal
Love!
Inspired of God,
